Welcome to Public Lands Advocacy (PLA). PLA, the successor organization to the Rocky Mountain Oil and Gas Association's (RMOGA) Lands/Exploration & Production Committee, is a non-profit, voluntary organization whose purpose is to:

  • Promote the discovery, development, and production of oil and gas resources on Public Lands throughout the western United States
  • Furnish opportunities for open discussion and lawful interchange of information between land management agencies and the petroleum industry
  • Accumulate and disseminate information concerning the petroleum industry in order to foster the best interests of the public and industry.
